This is too ordinary. You're writing everyday life we all have (which is plain and boring). You're writing about chit-chatting, sandwiches, moms, pies, more talking, chatting, etc. Nothing interesting happened. After reading the first part I expected something important/unordinary/mind-blowing to happen. Now I'm very disappointed.

The excitement happen eventually, the story is just on it's rising action this moment. I just want to give it a slow, easy going start with little problems and crap before crazy shit happens. The next few parts will be exciting, and things will start to change in the next part.
So be very patient my friend! The story will get better!
